The room we had included WiFi, coffee, and a kettle. The location was stunning and brilliant in a lovely area, not far from public transport and the pub downstairs and a quiet area. The staff was great, as well as host...

Quite small bathroom, really cold room.

My room included central heating, TV set, and a kettle. The hotel had a marvellous location next door to Harbour Lane Gallery. I didn't want to say goodbye, had a really great experience and definitely want to stay in that area again.

The bed was comfortable, but the room had a cold and damp atmosphere.

Lovely view from the top floor, overlooking the bridge. Unique atmosphere thanks to the combination of a pub downstairs and cozy rooms above.
Navigating to the check-in wasn't straightforward, as there were minimal signs indicating the entrance through the bar. The rooms feel cramped, with limited space for suitcases, and the Wi-Fi situation is frustrating. It requires sitting in awkward spots to connect. Add to that the breakfast options. They're lackluster for the price, with little variety.

Staying at the stag head was a good experience! The twin room with a private bathroom was clean. The location was perfect, with great views of the bridge, and many established restaurants nearby. The friendly staff really stood out. Breakfast at the café next door was a nice bonus!

Chill vibes and friendly staff
I stayed here for a night after hiking the John Muir Way. The room was super clean, and the views from my window were awesome! The café next door had delish breakfasts, but the pub didn't serve dinner, kinda a letdown. It was a comfy stop, just what I needed.

Nice location in south queensferry, with a fab view of the water. The staff were really helpful n friendly. Room was basic but pretty comfy n clean. Loved how quiet it was, no noise but still easy to get to edinburgh. The pub downstairs had a chill vibe and good beers!
The water pressure in the shower was super low, barely enough to rinse off. Couldn't get food at night, only during lunch.

The location was fantastic, ideal for exploring the city! We particularly enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, and it was nice to relax with our dog after a day of sightseeing. The pub was a great spot to unwind and meet locals.
In my wife's opinion, a larger pet-friendly dining area would be great.
